Destructcert is a product of Agen2ic, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. These terms govern your use of the Destructcert website and any future application.

Service description

Destructcert is a planned browser-based tool for generating certificates of destruction for IT assets, validated against NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1. The tool is described on this website as a forthcoming product. As of the date of this page, no application is available for use.

No warranty

Destructcert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The tool is designed to document sanitization information as entered by the operator. It does not itself verify that any drive or device was actually sanitized.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall Agen2ic, LLC be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the use of Destructcert or the information produced by it. Users are responsible for ensuring that their sanitization practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Intellectual property

The Destructcert name, brand, and visual identity are owned by Agen2ic, LLC. The NIST SP 800-88 standard referenced on this site is a publication of the US National Institute of Standards and Technology and is not owned by Agen2ic, LLC.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Billing and Payments

As described on this site, Destructcert is currently offered free of charge while in development. When paid certificate generation becomes available, the following terms will govern all purchases.

What you are buying

When paid, Destructcert sells one-time certificate generation per certificate or batch. Each certificate documents sanitization information as entered by the operator and is validated against NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1.

Pricing

Current prices are displayed on the pricing section of this site. Destructcert uses a one-time purchase model — there are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or account fees.

Payment processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. The checkout currently operates in test mode and will not charge any real card. Your payment is due at the time of certificate generation. Destructcert does not store your full payment credentials on its own servers. When the payment processor transitions to live mode, this notice will be removed.

Failed payments

If a payment attempt is declined (card declined, insufficient funds, or other processing error), the certificate will not be generated. No charge will be made unless the payment succeeds. You may retry payment with a different card or method.

Refunds

If a paid certificate contains a demonstrable error caused by Destructcert's validation system (not by incorrect or incomplete information you entered), you may request a full refund by emailing destructcert-p1@agen2ic.ai within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refund requests for operator data-entry errors, changed requirements, or other reasons not caused by Destructcert itself are not eligible.
